The band rattled the Oceanside club last friday night, with yet another high-adrenaline head-banging set. In addition to familiar songs from the "Metamorphosis" album like "Don't Lie", "Incoming" and "Planet Bliss," the fans were treated to two brand new songs straight out of the studio! The band opened with "A far cry from heaven," a never-before heard, slamming anthem rocker, which started with a synth echo laden guitar riff that instantly brought everyone's attention to the stage. "Sahara," the second new song, began with a haunting resonance of guitars, and grew in intensity to bone-crunching riffs. Laced with Rene Berrios' commanding vocals, it is sure to become a fan favorite!
The band will soon be featured on the New York Channel 11 Morning Show. Check back soon for details!
Recently, Sonic Bliss played a show at CBGB'S. The band filled the thirty minute set with an intense performance, which the fans won't soon forget. From the opening riffs of "She Breathes" Roger and Kerry unleashed a barrage of energetic tunes that really got the crowd going. Rene's vocals were flawless, despite his recent flu, and Glenn and Charlie kept everyone on their toes and banging their heads to the rythm.
Check out the Media section for pictures of the performance. Next week you will also be able to see video from this show.
